Our mini fruit garden...

Salaam,
When we arrived home in early October, we were so lucky to find out that it was still in the midst of the fruit season. Local fruits of all kinds and varieties that we've been craving for were in abundance, so much so that we almost lost our appetite. Durian, tarap, rambutan, langsat, you just name it, they were all available, come day or night. Of course top in our list is the 'durian kuning' which my son had so kindly stocked and kept frozen, as a special treat to welcome us. The other favorite that we've equally been longing for is the 'kembayau' which we never missed for lunch or dinner at home eversince.
And perhaps by a mere coincidence, it was also an opportune time to be around when most of the fruit trees in our little garden and backyard were also ripening. Our mango tree in particular, had been producing kilos of fruits even before we arrived. Except for the kembayau tree, which for some reason have not been succesful so far, the others were seemingly making some kind of a welcoming gesture of our arrival this time around.
Wassalam.
